My name is Thor Gabriel, and my journey into tattooing has been anything but ordinary. I was born in Cyprus and have been passionate about art for as long as I can remember. That passion first led me to study Graphic Design at the University of Wales and later Sound Engineering at IEK Delta Thessaloniki. Along the way, I discovered airbrushing and soon opened my own custom motorcycle workshop. It wasn’t long before the motorcycle world pulled me deeper into its culture and eventually into tattooing.

I started out with nothing more than a pair of old machines and a few brave friends willing to trust me with their skin. Those early days lit the spark that would grow into my career as a tattoo artist. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in top studios across the UK, USA, Japan, Cyprus, Greece, Denmark, and Poland. In 2020, I made Zurich, Switzerland my home base. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredible artists like Roman Abrego, Matkovski Calin, and Master Horisei, all of whom have influenced my growth and shaped me into a well-rounded artist.

While I enjoy working across all styles, my personal favorites are Japanese traditional, black & grey realism, and comic book/pop culture tattoos. I’m also trained in Tebori—the traditional Japanese hand-poked method—under the guidance of Master Horisei in Okinawa. My style is a fusion of Japanese flow and simplicity with the depth of realism and modern color work, creating designs that move with the body and age beautifully over time.

For me, tattoos are more than just images—they’re stories, identities, and lasting pieces of art.

Every design I create is meant to be timeless, staying bold, clean, and meaningful for years to come.

Outside of tattooing, I’m usually tinkering with machines, riding my motorcycle, relaxing with movies or video games, or happily getting distracted by dogs.
